Concerto for alto saxophone

and string orchestra or sax and piano

These three-movement concerto for alto sax in E flat, the piano score prepared by the composer, is a solidly constructed work in the classical mood, though influenced by jazz. The possibilities of the saxophone are highlighted both in the two fast movements that call on the player's virtuosity and in the delicate and elegant central Adagio.
